PALM BEACH GARDENS COUNTRY CLUB HOMES IN PGA NATIONAL SELLING WELL BUT MUCH BELOW PEAK YEARS

The number of country club homes and condos sold in Palm Beach Gardens' PGA National remains strong, with most property selling at prices below $400,000.

There were 150 homes and condos sold in PGA National during the first 10 months of 2009, slightly higher than the 1490 homes and condos sold during the same period of 2008, according to statistics from the Regional Multiple Listing Service.  

In 2009 76 percent of the homes sold were priced at of below $400,000.  In 2008 70 percent of the homes sold were priced at or below $400,000.

In terms of number of sale, the 2009 statistics are significantly below the high point of 2005 when 359 homes and condos were sold in PGA National, reflecting a 58 percent drop in sales volume.   

Today there are 225 homes and condos on the market in PGA National.

PGA National remains one of the premier country club communities in Palm Beach Gardens,  With five championship golf courses, it can provide an outstanding experience for either seasoned or new golfers.  In additional the community boasts a world class spa, tennis courts and croquet fields.  There are no mandatory club memberships at PGA National and the community is home to both year 'round and seasonal residents.
