Madison Families Team Up For Home Improvements
For two years now four Madison NJ families have been assisting each other with home improvements. They refer to themselves as "The House Project". With their favorite tools in hand, they arrive at the designated home at 8:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month between June and October. They start the day with coffee and bagels as they discuss their assigned projects.
They meet in February with their calendars to plan to upcoming months of projects. They are committed to putting in 5 1/2 hours of work without question or griping whether it be painting, putting up fences, hanging shelves, etc. Being skilled is not a requirement but will be recognized and duly noted among peers.
