Pretty Sites!

In true Leif form, here are a couple of sites I think are aesthetically pleasing.

There are two things I would change about this site. Number 1: I'd can the music. I hate any kind of audio when I check out a site. Most of the time my speakers are turned up for my tunes or something. Number 2: I would change the gray background to light blue or black. I feel that the gray clashes with the bright greens and blues of the rest of the site. Aside from those two flaws, I think this site is really beautiful. Everything is really clear and the site is really easy to navigate through.

As far as usability goes, this site is great. The design is really simple, but effective. I like the three main calls to action on the homepage. In some areas you can control the slide show, which is a cool little feature. The sidebars and slide shows are all really beautiful as well as the theme of the site.

I think this one is my favorite. As far as websites go, there is nothing more visually pleasing than a giant image of the sea, or a beach. The featured properties in the top right corner makes it easy for people who just want to start looking right away. The intro page isn't cluttered with random links to sites and the intro paragraph is nice and short. The colours of this site are perfect. Very easy on the eyes.

Hi Nick, Personally I link pointesouth.com the best. I am guessing that pointesouth.com was a very expencive site to put together. I like the music on that site, very soothing, made me feel so relaxed and just nice. I am not sure though it would be the call to action kind of music, but then it also made me long for the 2 weeks in Puerto Rico last year, and how it would be so nice to escape forever. Jim
