Vacationing In November: Thawing 2 weeks later

Things may change between now and November, but I am currently in the process of booking a bus/train trip to the Northwest Territories for a couple of weeks. I have been down the West Coast of the United States and even all the way to England, but I have never ever been in another province or Territory in Canada.
November, that will all change as I plan to literally go to the Great White North. My sister, Lina, lives up there with her husband and my Niece and Nephew. It will be good to go up there and visit with them all.
It should be interesting going somewhere where last year, in November, it was -27. I've always said I liked the cold... but I have a feeling I don't know what I'm getting myself into. Either way, it's going to be excellent to take the time away and go on my first solo mission. I feel it's long overdue.
Have any of you ever been up there? What should I expect? Will I come back an SEO Nickcicle?
Here's a small Update!
My bus ticket came the other day! It was a bit pricey, but the trip will be worth it. I'll let you know how the trip goes, next month!

haha.. kind of. I was trying to be clever.. It didn't quite work. SVRPaul, I will be taking tons of pictures. I have no idea what to expect, so it should be interesting.
Two weeks without jokes. It will be a long 2 weeks.
I have a feeling I will be checking in quite often. I *think* my sister has a computer in her igloo.

Will do! I leave in 6 days! Wahoo! I bought a Ukulele for the trip.. So I don't go through guitar withdrawels.
Hold on a minute Nick. What about the Joke Of The Day thread? Perhaps we should shut the forum down while you're gone?
I think that's probably the best possible solution.

SEO Nickcicle - take some great pictures and keep us updated it should be a beautiful trip -- did it long, long ago when I was much younger. Unfortunately, you'll probably be spending more time indoors and the days with sunlight will be much shorter.
