Summer Plans.

This is something that I have been wanting to do for a really long time. Last year I started recording my own music and I feel it would be a lot more fun to record other people as well as myself with some better equipment. So, my plan is to buy the necessary equipment to do this.
(To hear music I have already recorded, check out: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/blogs/seo-nick/nicks-music.html)
Get back into painting and drawing.
This is something I don't really have much time to do anymore. I really enjoy it but it seems as though I have had painter's/drawer's block for about a year now. I just need to find a little inspiration, I think. This probably also has a lot to do with the place I live at the moment. There isn't much space to really do that kind of stuff. Luckily, I'm moving in 5 days to a much bigger place.
Write more music/Jam more.
I have always felt my friends were way better at whatever instruments they played. So when they were jamming I kind of stood in the shadows and listened. I was intimidated. I think I have gotten to the point with my guitar playing that I could actually keep up.
I also need to start writing more music. I have all these ideas but I really need to take the time to put them together. Possibly with a friend. It's always good to have a second opinion. (Oh yeah, on those tracks I recorded<see link above> it's me playing all guitars.)
Set up a small home office.
I really enjoy working from home. Right now it's really hard with the limited space, but that's all going to change in 5 days. I'm going to make a little office in the den for all of my Real Estate Webmasters stuff. I also want to try and make some kind of home business. I have a couple ideas but nothing solid.
Work out.
Everyone puts this at the top of their lists. I always have, but I have never actually gotten around to it, rather then the odd hike here and there. I really want to start being a little more active. These days I haven't been feeling the best and I think it's do to lack of exercise. I want to go on more hikes and start swimming. I like both those things I just need to increase the amount of times I do these things.
That's it for now. I may add more.

Nice, I'll look into that... I was wondering if there was something like that available for a decent price.
My father passed away 18 years ago. I hope it is getting better. My father was a Realtor so I guess I bring him with me everyday. Its great to hear stories from other people. I hope you get those from your dads friends. It helps.
Indeed it does. It is getting better. I keep a smile on my face as much as possible. I'll save being sad for when it won't affect the people around me
Hope you'll include visiting Costa Rica as one of the things to do next summer.
If I had the cash, I'd be there!

That is true, everyone does that when someone close to them passes on. As for that studio, you might consider getting a lightsnake. I've read excellent reviews of it. Simply plug one end into your guitar, another into an amp, and the usb into your computer. (the amp is for you to know how good/bad you sound
). You have sound editing software I assume, so you would just use that. It's pretty cheap, and no special sound card required
Also it's not using a mic, thus it's just clean guitar noise, nothing else!
