In 2003 I had the pleasure to stumble into th Rancho Carlsbad community while I was looking for a tee time one afternoon.  A Good friend of mine suggested we head to the Rancho Carlsbad Golf course for a quick 18 holes, he told me that while the par 56 course was only 2396 yards I would have a good time working on my short game.  The course sits just off El Camino Real in a valley of mature Eucalyptus trees, lovely ponds, and meandering creeks.  The course is not very tough but it is a lot of fun.

The beauity of Rancho Carlsbad is not just in the Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course.  The Rancho Carlsbad community's charm is in the fact that it consists of a lovely over 55 community owned golf resort located in Carlsbad Ca and that it has a ton of ammenities!  Rancho Carlsbad is located at 5200 El Camino Real (the Kings Highway) Carlsbad CA.  From the moment you drive up to the guard gate you get the feeling that this is a special place.  This community consists of over 600 manufactured homes surrounding the Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course.  The grounds are maticulous!  Residents can also enjoy the tennis courts, year round heated pool, the streams, ponds and the plethura of activies within a short drive of the community.

Rancho Carlsbad Real Estate

At this writing, 12-18-2008, there are 17active listings in the Sandicor multiple listings service ranging from a low price of $239,000 to a high of $466,000.  The average marketing time of those active listings has been 163 days.  With 8 of the current active listings having been on the market for over 6 months.  Over the last 12 months, according to Sandicor's records, there have been 7 sales and there is one property that is currently marked as pending (in escrow).  The average marketing time for those homes that have sold over the last 12 months was 54 days and according to Sandicor's statics the average sale price for those 7 homes was $287,271.   The higest priced sale, according to Sandicor, was for $426,900 which closed escrow on 8/06/2008.  If you are thinking of purchasing Rancho Carlsbad Real Estate feel free to contact me.  I would be happy to provide you with current marketing stats and detailed information about any of the homes in this fine community.
