RE/MAX Outshines The Competition
Posted Jun 10, 2009 @ 10:21 pm, Viewed by 450 Visitors, Read 462 Times. Now, granted, I am biased. I've been affiliated with RE/MAX for almost three years. I love their business model. I love their agent services--including Remax.com, Remax.net, and the RE/MAX Satellite Network for agent training. I love their brand, one of the most respected brands in my market--Salt Lake City, Utah.
But most of all, I love the fact that when times are tough, RE/MAX just tries harder, works smarter, and continues to build the business. The perfect example of this came out just last week as national television advertising results for the 1st quarter of 2009 were announced. For national real estate franchises "share of voice" in national TV advertising, RE/MAX came out on top. Of course, RE/MAX had to come out on top: they were the only real estate franchise to advertise on national television in all of January, February, and March 2009! RE/MAX earned 99.9% share of voice during that period.
What does this mean for me, a hard-working RE/MAX agent? It means, when times are tough--and they're tough for everybody right now--my company is willing to invest and grow and build it's brand (I might even say "my brand"), when other brokerages are cutting costs and retreating from the marketplace. Where RE/MAX had a 50% share of voice in 2008, they now have a 99.9% share of voice. That's critical to me because, when a buyer or seller considers who to hire, I want "RE/MAX" to be their first thought. And with this latest investment in brand advertising, there's that much better chance that it will be.
I've recently written about this and other good reasons why RE/MAX is the best choice for not only agents, but buyers and sellers as well. You can read more on my Dwell Utah blog: The RE/MAX Value Proposition For Utah Home Buyers & Sellers.
I guess you can say, I'm happy with RE/MAX!
