Video Email if you want to make an Impression

Let me start by saying that my team has 5 Buyers agents, 2 admins and one Technical Director (that would be me). We have a new agent coming online the end of next week. With that many agents that I feel responsible for to make sure they have food on their table, I need to keep searching for new technology's that will keep them ahead of everyone else in their game. That is where Video Email comes into play. This is not something new, and I have been playing with it for about a year or so. I have always loved video email but never thought it was ready for prime time. It was either too costly, or the technology was just not there yet, and tech support usually had no idea how to fix things (that was the case with HelloWorld). But times are different now. Video email is much simplier now, the options have been stripped down to what is really needed, and the technology is much more mature.
Lets get back to why we use it. The first things is that video email is looked at over 90% of the time, much higher than a regular email. And in a video email, you actually get to see who the person is, what they sound like, their mannerisms, etc. It is a chance for the recipient to become a little more connected you since they will now have more information about who you are. In addition, you can track when the video was viewed and how many times it was viewed. The amazing thing is video email tends to be viewed over and over and over.
There are a few companies out there that offer the service, Helloworld, eyejot, Talk Fusion...you just need to examine what each has to offer, what the associated costs are, and how well their tech support is. Try it out, you may find you really enjoy sending email again!

Thanks Carolyn, yes we are using it heavily now...and getting some great results. Frank and Dana have been getting to work on their database and Frank is getting call backs on the Video Emails so it does work.

I like videoemail cos it's very much more personal, and it's a great way to keep in touch with my family when I'm away. I'm using Open My Video now and it's working really great for me, furthermore, it's free! So it's quite a blessing.
