Cheap Property in Spain - Sabinillas

The once small fishing village of Sabinillas occupies a coastal position in the Manilva region of the Costa Del Sol. There has recently been significant investment to the infrastructure of this pretty little town both in the road network and promenade areas, making it a really great place to spend time. There are plenty of ammenities and good value bars and restaurants here, because this is essentially not a tourist destination, but rather a place where you can rub shoulders with all the locals an get a true snapshot of the Spanish lifestyle.

Close by to this is the marina of La Duquesa, with its golf course close by and general holiday resort feel. There are some ancient Roman ruins and a small castle close to a tiny fishing village called "El Castillo" where again you can get genuine, fresh Spanish tapas for $1.50 per dish! This place co-exists next to this relatively popular tourist destination, without changing its sense of originality which is a pretty rare thing here in Spain.

The property market in this area is over supplied by many  developments that the majority of which had been sold to investors during the boom period. Many of these speculators unfortunately overstretched themselves and are now looking to sell their properties at knock down prices. For this reason I know with some of the listings that we have in the area, you can obtain apartments for under €150,000 that will give you more internal space than alternative developments further east. Keeping an open mind is essential when it comes to bagging a bargain and if you are willing to discover places like Sabinillas and dig a little further you will find great value in a place where you have good ammenities and infrastructure.
