More Celebrity Endorsements For Dubai Property Launches.

Dubai has always been said to be a special place, but now Dubai residents can officially declare themselves lucky lucky lucky with the news the pop star Kylie Minogue is set to come to Dubai for the launch of Dubai’s new super expensive, super exclusive hotel, Atlantis. Costing a rather staggering $1500 million to build, the top suite here will set you back around $30,000 a night, which makes good sense when you find out that they are spending $35 million on the launch party, some $6 million of that on fireworks alone! Kylie therefore will just be the icing on the cake for what is billed as the most expensive private party ever! But celebrity endorsement is nothing new to Dubai. In fact of late it seems to have become the standard way to launch a project! It seems getting a well known person to help with the launch of a project instantly makes the development that much more desirable to property buyers.

Hillary Swank was recently brought on board by Nakheel to launch The Word development. Nakheel clearly believe the two time Oscar winner will help the already super exclusive development gain even more of an edge, but whether they need have bothered spending such money is a different matter. But then Nakheel recently announced profits of $771 million, so I suppose it doesn’t matter to much to them! And clearly other Dubai developers feel the same. Dubai’s properties huge under construction Tourism Park Dubailand will feature among lots of freehold property and places of interest, a Tiger Woods designed golf course. Dubailands dedicated sports and leisure area Sport City, will also see another golf course endorsement from another heavyweight, with Ernie Els designing a course here with some outstanding Dubai apartments on offer.

And this is just the tip of the ice berg, with numerous other celebrities coming on board and getting involved in the Dubai freehold property market. Dubai Sports City has seen countless other big names in sports, such as Manchester United also lend their name and support to projects, and there are numerous freehold Dubai apartment buildings following suit. Boris Becker now has his own tower here, as does Michael Schumacher. If there is anywhere that the property sells itself, then it is in Dubai, yet Dubai property developers are going above and beyond the necessary to attract attention to there developments. Whist Dubai property probably doesn’t need an extra helping hand; Dubai has never been one for understatement. After all, this is the home of a $1500 million hotel!
