55º Time Dubai

Once again Dubai finds itself in the news with another groundbreaking project. 55º Time Dubai is considered another first for the world’s real estate market, and where else of course but Dubai could it be located. Dubai has surged its way to the top when it comes to producing the worlds most unique and daring property developments, and Time 55º Dubai will be no different in this regard. With projects like The World Dubai, and the Palm Trilogy just a taster of some of the spectacular freehold property developments on offer throughout the Emirate, new projects here have a lot to live up to. 55º Time Dubai does look up to the challenge however.

So what is so special about this new project then? Well the name should give you some clue as to what developers Dubai Property Ring have in store here. Here we have the world’s first turning timepiece building! Clearly still and non moving buildings are so last season; so now Dubai real estate buyers will have the option of home that turns! The official launch of the Tower is scheduled for January 09, and it is sure to attract some attention. So what is the point in a building that revolves? Well 14 meter panoramic widows meet with a solar paneled powered rotary system, which will see the building move a centimeter a minute, somewhere in the region of 52 degrees in 24 hours, and all with the movement of the building being unnoticeable from the inside, except for the changing view! Over the course of a week, residents will be able to enjoy a 360 degrees view of the surround area, as the building completes a full rotation.

You might question if hasn’t all this been done before with revolving restaurants and such? Well the developers would certainly not agree, wanting to highlight this is a new patented technology, and that having a whole building move in unison is something yet to be attempted. 55º Time Dubai will be the first of 24 such buildings, which are planned for major cities around the globe. Planning is already under way in other cities, as the idea moves from Dubai to become a global brand. However as normal, Dubai properties are leading the way!
