I cut and paste from the email.   A MODERN PARABLE -      A Japanese company ( Toyota ) and an American company    (Ford) decided to have a canoe race on the Missouri River. Both teams    practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race.    On the big day, the Japanese won by a mile.      The Americans, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing  defeat. As a Realtor, one of our biggest frustrations is dealing with the unrealistic expectations of a seller. Sellers are notorious for overpricing their homes. The market is saturated with thousands of properties that will never sell without a price adjustment. Take a look at this golf course home in Sarasota, Florida. It sold November 10, 2008 for $495,300. I showed the home to some clients who purchased something else. The home was dated but had a fantastic view. The floor plan was a bit peculiar because all 4 bedrooms were on the same side of the house. Overall, I think the house was great.
