Bird Key is a beautiful residential island community conveniently located between mainland Sarasota and Lido/St. Armands Key. Circus magnate John Ringling purchased this island in the early 1920’s and linked it to mainland Sarasota; that "link" is named, but of course, the John Ringling Bridge. The bridge was recently converted to a fixed-span beauty that has become symbolic of the downtown Sarasota skyline.
 
Bird Key is an upscale residential community consisting of over 500 homes.
