Longboat Key Condo Update

Longboat Key, Florida is an eleven mile long barrier island off the coast of Sarasota and Bradenton. Roughly half of the island is in Sarasota county while the other half is in Manatee county. The island is incorporated and offers its own town hall, police force and post office. The island is a fabulous vacation spot to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is made up of primarily single family homes and condos. Many of them owned by northerns or "snowbird" who visit during the winter.

Longboat Key Condos

Currently there are 49 condos under contract on Longboat Key with 509 condos actively for sale. They range from a $50,000 fractional ownership condo at The Colony beach resort to a $5,000,000 unconstructed beach front condo in Bleu Claire.

So far this year we have had 52 condos sell on Longboat Key. They range in price from $172,000 to a $3,000,000 sale in the Water Club. The median sales price is $442,000 and the average sales price is $643,323.
