Take a look at the home with the highest sales price in Sarasota in 2008. This is a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 3 half bathrooms and 9,406 square feet on Siesta Key. It was a spec home that was taken back by a hard money lender. It was listed for $9,950,000 and it closed for $8,000,000. When it was listed you could have found it on my Sarasota foreclosure page. You can also find it using my Sarasota MLS search.

What was the highest sales price in your market? Only single family homes, no businesses or parcels of land.

In our market out most expensive sold in 2008 was a 6,600 square foot home for $1,750,000 and the agent double sided the transaction. Wish it was me.

The most expensive single family home sold in Calgary last year was $7,500,000 and yes this agent double ended the transaction as well as double ending the sale of buyers old house in Mount Royal. Not a bad week for that agent.
