Take a look at the home with the highest sales price in Sarasota in 2008. This is a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 3 half bathrooms and 9,406 square feet on Siesta Key. It was a spec home that was taken back by a hard money lender. It was listed for $9,950,000 and it closed for $8,000,000. When it was listed you could have found it on my Sarasota foreclosure page. Yay! My listing in Woodland Park went under contract last week. You can see more pictures and details here. The asking price was $374,900. The home offered 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and almost 3,000 square feet. If you are not familiar with Woodland Park it is centrally located in Sarasota, Florida. From this home you can be swimming in the Gulf of Mexico in about 20 minutes, shopping at one of the many malls within 10 minutes or dining with friends in downtown Sarasota within 10 minutes.
