What a week it has been. Real Estate is awesome. I absolutlely love what I do. It is my PASSION! But, every soldier needs a day of rest. I am planning to go north about 90 miles from Orlando and swim with the Florida Manatees. I did it once in Crystal Springs and the time was peaceful, educational and alot of fun. This time, I am making sure that my 13 yr old son is there to enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

You see, there are less than 3,000 manatees in existence. SO many groups are trying to stop the tours and swimming with these wonderful creatures, so.. the time to swim with them is now!

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - Sixty-five of the nation's 299 biggest real estate markets are severely overpriced and subject to possible price corrections.
That's according to the latest (third quarter) Housing Market Analysis conducted by National City Corp, a financial holding company, in conjunction with Global Insight, a financial information provider.
The report named Naples, Florida as the most overvalued of all housing markets in the United States. A single-family, median-priced home there sells for $329,970, 84 percent more than what it should cost -- $180,956 -- according to the analysis.

A University of Florida study suggests the state's single-family residential housing market has bottomed out.

"If you're thinking of buying a house, there's probably not much to be gained by holding out at this point," said Wayne Archer, director of UF's Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies. "It doesn't look like prices are going to fall anymore."

The quarterly survey of real estate industry professionals completed in January shows the share of respondents observing a drop in single-family housing prices has dipped, while a growing number find prices staying even with inflation.

A Proud History

The site that is now Baldwin Park has a long and proud history of The United States Military service. From 1940 throughout World War II and until 1968, the site was an Army Air Corps and Air Force base. In 1968, that base became the Orlando Naval Training Center (ONTC), sort of a college campus for sailors. Over 650,000 naval recruits received basic training here before the ONTC was closed in 1999. Lake Baldwin and Baldwin Park take their names from former Under Secretary of the Navy, Robert H. B. Baldwin. Lakefront land has been donated for a commemorative Veterans Park planned for the northern shore of Lake Baldwin.
