Tampa Upscale Areas: Carrollwood & Davis Island

Two popular area that everyone loves in the Tampa area are Carrollwood and Davis Islands. First, up in the northern part of Tampa is the Carrollwood area, known for mature homes and established neighborhoods with small lakes.  Locals gather at the Cultural Arts center on Lowell Rd on the weekends to take in a weekend performance. Another happening place is the  Carrollwood Players Community Theater on Gunn Highway. The Carrollwood Village area is ideal for walking or riding your bike.  And, for those that really enjoying biking check out the Upper Tampa Bay Bike Trails that lead to the Suncoast Trail. You'll want to shop for a bike too if you plan to buy a home in Carrollwood!  When you have to drive, Carrollwood is centrally located in Tampa Bay and convenient to the TIA airport, many shopping centers and malls, and major highways. South Tampa has some popular neighborhoods too. Old meets new in much of the architecture found on Davis Island , another favorite watefront town of ours. There are tons of Mediterranean historic style homes on and off the water, as well as lots of townhouses, newer condos & smaller homes. Surrounded by water, it's a lovely place for a stroll. The main street in the charming downtown is perfect for boutique shopping or meeting a friend for lunch. Like boating?  There is a marina here at the Davis Island Yacht Club.  There's even a dog park and beach to take your dog.
