Golf Front Homes

For many people, their dream home includes a big, beautiful green yard that they can view outside their window every day. Imagine how great it would be to look out on a backyard that was 300 yards long - and knowing you never have to mow it! Whenever I am showing new homes for prospective buyers, I always show any golffront home that fits their criteria. Luckily, Central Florida has many golf courses and many golf front homes. There is just something so appealing about having all that space behind your home instead of looking out your back window and into your neighbor's kitchen.

Of course, there's the inevitable question - will my house get hit by golf balls? Well, depending on what part of the fairway you're fronting (not to mention the skill of the average golfer), some homes may get hit more often than others but, yes, chances are your home will be hit by a golf ball at some point. I've been playing golf for many years and I've hit more houses than I care admit (though I've never broken a window or done any damage as far as I know). I have also owned a home that backed right onto a golf course for many years so I know firsthand that the enjoyment of that view - not to mention the added value to your home - makes the occasional errant golf ball completely worthwhile.

It's such a rare and wonderful thing to sit on your back porch and watch a golfer hitting a beautiful drive to the green, or watching the sun rise and set on a quiet, peaceful fairway everyday. The next time you are house hunting, you should consider a golf front home.
