Here are the basics of the Subprime Mortgage Crisis. It's funny, but at the same time very accurate.

We all know that 2007 wasn't a very good year for real estate in Schaumburg. There was a sharp drop in purchasing activity that caused a huge increase in inventory, what most people don't understand is this all started in 2006. The chart below shows that the inventory curve started increasing at the start of 2006 and continued most of 2007. At the end of 2007 we start seeing a nice reduction in inventory that could be signs of the market picking up.

The next chart will show that home prices have dropped during 2007, the lower curve shows the median closed sales price for Schuamburg. One thing that many clients have in common is that they don't know exactly where every condo complex is, or they know where one is they like but not the name. To help make your condo search easier we have added a map search feature.

This search is in "beta mode" currently, meaning we don't have all complexes listed. It also means that we are working out a few bugs, but the information listed in accurate. We currently are only using this feature on our Arlington Heights Condo Guide and have put up information on a few condo complexes.

With our doors open for less than 3 months the conversion at Spring Hill in Roselle Illinois is going great. Even with a couple of slow weeks for traffic we already have over 100 contracts on our 264 unit conversion. The prime buying season is just starting and increased traffic is starting to be seen. There is a chance to finish this conversion in under 12 months if the projected sales over this summer happen.
