Greetings – My First Post

The simple answer is: when you don’t have time to post original content on all your blogs on a regular basis then you are simply spread too thin.
I am not a real estate agent or broker, but my wife is, and she has 2 blogs (Active Rain, and a self-hosted site with Wordpress) and I must admit she does a fairly competent job of keeping original content posted on a regular basis, although she does cross post with some modification on occasion. She is talking about a 3rd blog (another self hosted) and I am doing my best to convince her that given her business load that it is too much. I will be trying to get her to start a REW blog instaed of self hosting if she insists on having another blog but only time will tell if I am successful or not.
Anyway I will be using my REW blog to post about online marketing, websites, SEO, and the like specifically real estate related. I have been a software engineer by training (BSCS) and trade (my fulltime day-job) for the last 25 years and over the past year or so, at the request of my wife, I have built two real estate websites for her (a blog and search site): Huntsville Real Estate and Huntsville Homes. This has really been an enjoyable experience and I have learned a great deal since my day-job is not website related.
So I won’t run on, I just wanted to get this first post off and see how it turns out.

Welcome Tim, from an agent that has multiple websites and blogs.
Hi Tim...I as well have multiple blogs and sometimes it will get to be close to midnight and I'm scrambling to come up with content for one of the blogs. What I usually end up doing is go to bed and not posting , because if I have to truly think about posting something interesting, it probably will not be that well received!
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. This blogging service provided by REW is a great value and I simply love their 'Original Content Only' rule. Hopefully unlike Active Rain it will remain free. What a deal!
Hello Tim, I am brand new to REW also. In fact I have yet to write my first post. (This is my first comment!) I enjoyed reading your intro very much. I was drawn to REW because of their "original Content", rule also. A.R. gets more and more commercialized every day and I am seeking out other forums and wanting to learn more about quality SEO.
