With the high number of seniors relocating to the Grand Strand, the demand for senior living communities is growing quickly.  Seniors age 65 and up will make up 36 percent of the Grand Strand’s population by the year 2025.  Until recently, options for this type of community were very limited in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.

Will The Hard Rock Theme Park Be Positive For Myrtle Beach Real Estate?

Hard Rock Theme ParkFor years now, people entering Myrtle Beach via Highway 501 have been sitting in traffic jams crossing over the Intracoastal Waterway and have unfortunately had to gaze upon the eyesore that was once the  thriving Waccamaw Factory Shoppes.  Ever since these shops closed, the area quickly became run down, dilapidated, and abandoned.  Most residents, including myself, are very optimistic that the Hard Rock theme park will restore life to that area of Myrtle Beach. 

The 400 million dollar, 140-acre Hard Rock Park will include six music themed zones, a Jamaican water play area, a 10,000 seat amphitheater, restaurants, and comedy shows.  It will also feature the tallest roller coaster in the state, themed after the famous band Led Zeppelin.  The Park is…
