I looked all over and I could not find a good short sale forum to go to.  All I did find was a different "gurus" trying to figure out a way to make a quick buck off the people who want to make a quick buck. 

ShortSalePros - is a website created in the same vein as REOPRO - a site dedicated to the professionals working this market and trying to offer help.  I won't be satisfied until you can go to the site and find contact numbers for loss mitigation departments and have the right and useful forms.

The site is built from the easy to use NING site.  If you've never seen it, it's like a really nice version of myspace.  In any case the content we are looking for is:

If you missed my previous entry about this company, please look at Real Estate Client Referrals (RECR) Resource Center .

Today marks a new chapter in this drama.

I was ready to let bygones be bygones with this company.  The chargeback finally went through after several round of back and forth and ultimately RECR - Real Estate Client Referrals decided that they did in fact charge me incorrectly.  See the credit card company allows each party to dispute the charge and to continue to dispute the charge indefinitely.  Basically, in some cases, it just comes down to who is the most tenacious.

Now, after already accepting the fact that they ripped me off, and allow the money to be returned, they have sent my "case" to a debt collector.

RECR - Real Estate Client Referrals

They did it again! You'd think that with the amount of negative press they are getting about screwing over agents, that they would just drop my request for a refund, refund the money so I can go on my way.  However, since they continue to fight I'm wanting to get my money's worth out of it.

In their latest response, they said:

After writing about Hamilton Mill Short Sales, I received my first one to work on.

This short sale home in Hamilton Mill may very well be the best deal in the whole neighborhood.

Set to foreclose on the first of March, we are stopping the foreclosure in order to mitigate the damage to the seller and save everyone some money.  Or at least that's what we are attempting.
