Why would there be no cities from New Jersey in such a survey??

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine Please Read

There are many reasons:

  • New Jersey is made up of many great small towns such as Summit NJ just over 20,000 people
  • New Jerseys biggest town Newark is in the beginning stages of a huge redevelopment plan
  • New Jerseys Governor does not seem to understand that a continually growing state government is driving good paying jobs out of the state.  In fact New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine seems to be in denial about the whole subject.
  • The New Jersey legislature seems to have no real working knolledge of how economics work.  They just want more taxes.
  • Many of the local town governments in New Jersey seem to have a greedy child attitude about taxing and spending and in some cases seem to think that the town is entitled to it's residents money.

I know this sounds like a rant, and in some respects it is.  My real goal with this is hoping that someone will pass this onto New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine and many of the state legislators so that possibly they can understand that New Jersey can and must be a better run state with much less money taxed from it's residents.

Governor Jon Corzine, it is time to do much more with much less.  It is time for a across the board 40% Tax Cut.  Time to tell the legislature to deal with it.  Time to tell the local towns and counties to go on a diet.  In a sense New Jersey as a state is like many of the contestants on their first day on NBC's Biggest Looser television show.

Please Governor Jon Corzine, put the state on a do or die diet.
