Morris Township Mayor Backs Traffic Cameras
Posted Dec 31, 2007 @ 8:35 am, Viewed by 373 Visitors, Read 378 Times.Morris Township Mayor Robert Nace said the overwhelming majority of residents he's spoken to support the idea of installing cameras at intersections to catch drivers who speed through red lights.
Many may not like the Big Brother side of this solution to a supposed problem. Putting the cameras in at traffic intersections allows the government to track the public's movements and record the times that people come and go. All of this done using our own hard earned money.
Is this what Morris Township or other New Jersey towns need to be spending money on??
I think that Morris Township Mayor Nace, who happens to be my neighbor is headed down the wrong road on this one. My understanding is that Mayor Nace is a Republican, I wish he would take up some of the values of a Republican.
