Madison NJ Area Home Owners, Time to keep your pipes from freezing
Posted Dec 12, 2007 @ 5:55 pm, Viewed by 448 Visitors, Read 459 Times.Time to walk around your house and disconnect your garden hoses and put them away. Not only will this help prolong the life of your garden hoses, but it will help to keep the water pips that feed your outside spigots from freezing and bursting. If you can, be sure to shut off the water supply to your outdoor spigots and then drain the water from the spigot.
If your outside water spigot is warn or not working properly consider replacing it with a frost free spigot (typical cost $25 to $50 over standard spigots)
