The Six Deadly Mistakes That Can Kill The Sale Of Your Home
HIGHEST BIDDER
Many home sellers select their Realtor based on which one told them that he / she could get the most money for their home.
Truth is there are a certain number of Realtors out there who will tell you any price they think you are looking to hear, knowing that they can always force you to price reduce later.
Bad idea – higher asking price means more days on the market, less qualified buyer, and smaller chance of getting a full market value offer quickly.
FAMILY BUSINESS
”We listed with Joe because he’s a friend of a family.” Never mind that Joe only works part-time and has never actually sold a house in the area – or sold a house at all.
Consider your agent’s experience, marketing plan, and marketing skills before you… Read Full Post
The Headlines Scream “Double Digit Home Price Drops Coming”
More national real estate news that brings you in with the shocking headline gets you to read it then tells you exactly what you already know.
In a Les Christie, CNNMoney.com staff writer September 19 2007. The headline practically screams at you “Double digit home price drops coming”. The average consumer reads the headline and thinks that is what will happen everywhere. But is it the truth as they say every week at the Rotary club? When you need a short ULS for something like a blog post which typically has a long URL what can you do?
I was wondering this very thing the other day. I did not have time or the desire to go out and purchase a domain name and then point it at the blog post. So I asked in the blog section of the Real Estate Webmasters Forum if anyone had any ideas. Next thing I know suggestions are coming in to use Tiny URL's tinyurl.com.
What a great solution. I have used it for several blog posts with great success.
Here is one of them for the blog post A New Local Real Estate Transfer Tax?? The normal URL was http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/blogs/james-boyer/2473/show/ but after Tiny URL's help http://tinyurl.com/35rmxl
Thank you Tiny URL's and Thank you…

Are you thinking of selling your Morris, Essex, or Union County home? There are so many things to consider before you actually put your home on the market. Are you going to try to sell your home yourself, or hire a professional? But wait a minute are all Realtors professionals? Well that depends on who is describing what a professional is. In my book a professional Realtor is not only someone who holds a New Jersey real estate license and works at real estate full time, but someone who gets results and stands by their word.
WARNING! Listing your home for sale with the wrong New Jersey real estate agent can cost you not only precious time, but thousands of dollars. There is nothing worse than getting trapped in a lengthy listing contract with a wrong…

Are you questioning just what you should be asking when you interview a Realtor to sell your home?
It is unfortunate that I have to say this but there truly are many more lazy or just plain bad Realtors than there are good Realtors. If you hire a bad or lazy Realtor you could end up not just wasting your time but with disastrous results.
What is important to know when you are interviewing a Realtor?
Here is a list of questions to ask a Realtor when interviewing them for the job of marketing your home. I will give my answers to these questions as well.

A Full-Point Interest Rate Cut Needed ASAP to Stem This "Run On The Bank"
Screams Lawrance Kudlow, A Writer for Investors Business Daily & CNBC News Anchor. Lawrance goes on to say "You don't have credit blowups, liquidity freezes, dysfunctional commercial paper markets, suspect bank loan quality - nor do these ailments spill over into London and the other European money markets - when central bank policies are easy and accommodative.
But does this have anything to do with North New Jersey Real Estate? Yes to a extent it does. It has gotten more difficult for people who wish to purchase a home in which they need to get a Jumbo or Non conforming mortgage for. A jumbo or non conforming loan is any mortgage for higher than $417,000.
