Fishers Market Update

Today I wanted to look at what is happening on one of Indy’s most popular suburbs: Fishers.  Fishers real estate is so popular because it is very affordable and approachable for the average family and the schools and family friendly atmosphere is fantastic.  Let’s take a look at some numbers for year to date sales stats for Fishers Indiana real estate:

As you can see we are seeing an 11% decrease in the number of homes sold since last year and a 4% decrease in the average sales price.  The tax credit should have an impact on these numbers over the next couple of months, but that remains to be seen.  One of the most promising figures for Fishers real estate is that the absorption rate, or the number of months supply of homes on the market, is at a very reasonable 5.4 and is among the lowest in the area.  Fishers is poised for a quick recovery and with tons of Fishers Indiana subdivisions to choose from, the real estate market in Fishers should come back soon.
