 Nashville Lake Homes

Old Hickory lake in Nashville Tennessee looks more like a river when you look at it on a map. Its a long winding lake and as a result has created an abundance of lakefront homes.

In the late 60's the Corp of Army Engineers decided to dam the Cumberland river and created Old Hickory lake.  As a result the newly;y created lake lots attracted the buyers with the money to build lake homes and in the 70's this tended to be the country music starts such as Jonny Cash and Roy Orbison.
