"Whether you define ROI as Return on Investment or Realtor on Internet, Trulia’s business was built on the premise of helping agents and brokers improve their ROI." quote right from the Trulia BLOG
This is BS, my listings will appear on any website that has an idx. Guaranteed that if you type in Bellingham Real Estate you would get ten results that will have my listing on it. Your business was built to make money not to help us agents ,come on do you really think that we are that naive to believe this. Hate to break this to trulia but we don't really need trulia to sell our listings. If Trulia was here to maximize our ROI the least they could do would be to follow are link back to our sites, since we are supposed to be trusted partners and supplying trulia with all of their content.
Eric Brammlett pointed these links out, they are links that are on the /MyHomeDtl.asp of Number1expert pages. Do number1expert agents have the choice not to link to Trulia...I bet most of the Number one agents have no idea that they are supporting Trulia in the serps. Correct me if I am wrong, do they have an option if they don't choose to link to Trulia?
"Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings” quote straight from Goolge Guidelines. I don't know about you bu this looks like a linking trick to me.
There was a gentleman that was in the denver are not sure what his site was, he was highley ranked. Turns out he was sending out links to other websites via videos. The users didn't know that they were picking up his Denver Real Estate link via the embeded video on their site. Well guess the site is completely gone from the serps and will never return. I feel that this is kind of the same thing here with N1E Widgets. Did truila and N1E explain to these realtors that it would help out truila in the serps and help the competition?
You know this same type of thing happened when Walmart came to town put all of the mom and pop stores out of business. Its time we stand up and start doing something about this I am in full support of the Trulia awareness
Lets start the Awareness
