Abundant Foreclosures in Metro Atlanta

Is it me,or there 3 times as many Foreclosures in the last 2 months than ever before. I know all about the sub-prime market etc.,but I just do not understand why so many people were and are house poor, and it seems now that the homes are Bank owned now, and there asset list keeps growing. I just hope things turn for the better soon, becaus e there are several agents leaving the business due to not having any clients.
