One of the things that keeps me sane at work is the ability to listen to music while I'm working. Uploading/emailing/coding can get very tedious and repetitive, but listening to music helps me stay awake for those 8 hours on a computer every day.

A university in Windsor did a study with 56 software designers (41 male, 15 female) from different companies over five weeks. Results showed that the quality of work was dramatically lower without music, although tasks were taking longer to complete.

I guess it really depends on the type of job you have. For example if you were a graphic designer, that extra time on each task might be worth the extra creativity. However, for programmers who are less focused on creativity and more focused on getting the job… Read Full Post

Just thought I would post a little introduction to start off my blog.

My name's Dave Friday and i'm part of the creative linking team for Real Estate Webmasters. I've been with these guys (and girls) for a little over 2 years and I'm proud to be an employee of such a great company.
