Cedar Rapids Real Estate Interest Rates at 4.375% today!

Just a quick note to all who read my blog that interest rates are at historic lows today hovering around 4.375%.  If you are considering buying a house or were considering in the next few months, now might be the time to act.  If you call me, I can put everything into place for you and get the ball rolling, including your appointment with a preferred, local lender here in town.  Here is what you'll need for the lender appointment:

1. Last 2 years of W-2 Forms from taxes
2. Last 2 paystubs for each person qualifying under the loan
3. Social security numbers

From this information, the lender will pull your credit score, and based on that number, you will be qualified for a certain dollar amount.  Just because you are qualified for that amount, it doesn't mean you can necessarily afford that amount when you look at your monthly budget.  That's what we're here for, to work with you, and the lenders to determine what you can comfortably afford, and then we get to go shopping!
