Wesley Chapel Shoppers Are You Ready?
Posted Jan 23, 2008 @ 4:03 pm, Viewed by 1003 Visitors, Read 1080 Times. The buzz between the residents of Wesley Chapel is all about the up and coming retail scene that will soon be in full swing. Three major developments for mixed use retail space are well underway. The existing JCPenny on Bruce B. Downs Blvd. anchors the start of the 800,000 sq ft Shops at Wiregrass, which will soon include Dillard's and Macy's as the other main tenants. Many upscale stores like Pottery Barn, Crabtree & Evelyn, Williams-Sonoma, and Aveda are scheduled as well. With a variety of high-end retailers and restaurants, the Shops at Wiregrass will soon end the task of driving to Brandon or South Tampa for a real mall experience.
About five miles North of Wiregrass is The Grove, which has already celebrated its grand opening. While there is more on the way, you can currently visit the outdoor shopping center just off of State Road 54 and I-75 for Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Toys R Us, and more. Not yet open, but highly anticipated is The Grove's s 16-screen movie theater that will finally bring the movies to Wesley Chapel!
The third and largest development, Cypress Creek Town Center is located on State Road 56 just West of I-75. Scheduled to open in the fall, tenants will include Costco, Kohl's, Books-A-Million, Old Navy, SuperTarget, Circuit City, and Linens-N-Things. As the retail scene of Wesley Chapel grows, we are sure to see the number of residents follow. Soon the area will be a true city within a city, and Wesley Chapel residents will never have to step foot elsewhere again.
