Discussion: A flood of new listings was observed, and will likely continue for a couple of weeks *as normally expected for the first part of January*. Of note were the sales number for the period: 35% higher than the same period last year. While sellers (listings) are jumping into the market, the buying side (sales) shows signs of beating 2006 sales for the month, which were a record for January.
