The city of Whittier offers a little something for everyone, no matter your tastes.

There’s the Whittier Village Cinemas movie theater, bike trails, a strong tradition of preserving local history and unique, locally-owned shops and restaurants to enjoy in uptown Whittier. The city’s Greenleaf Avenue offers shops selling home decor, articles from Mexico and restaurants with attractive decor and menus like Seta on Philadelphia St or Phlight on Bright Ave.  Not far away from Whittier homes, a newly-created bike trail leads residents from neighborhoods to shops.  An annual city festival, city landmarks and a museum all pay tribute to John Greenleaf Whittier, a Quaker poet. The city’s first settlers were Quakers who wanted to pay tribute to his work.

Nestled amid the Puente Hills about 20 miles due east from downtown Los Angeles, homebuyers will find a jewel: Hacienda Heights real estate.

Carson Real Estate activity is underway throughout the city.

In addition to our primary Real Estate sales business many Real Estate professionals also arrange financing for their clients as the 2 businesses are natural fits for each other.  As a former wholesale rep in the residential mortgage industry and someone with experience closing large volumes of loans it would make no sense for our company to not do loans.

Download one page form: "Decline-in-Value Reassessment Application (Prop. 8)" (bottom of page).

Complete and sign form. 

Printout 2-3 sales comparables from 1/1/09 - 3/31/09 that support value you want property assessed at.  If you need help with comps try www.zillow.com or www.cyberhomes.com  If you still need help contact me at (cell # 310 874-1278) or e-mail here.

Put both pieces of paper into envelope with stamp and mail back to assesors office.

Now please allow me to go rest after that long, strenous teaching session...
